Why?

1. Hosting a blog is a pain (security issues meaning you have to update constantly and consistently). I wasn’t realizing any of the benefits of hosting my own instance (customized templates, etc.).
2. I want to blog more and Tumblr make it easier to publish content. Their iPhone app is lovely. And I love how this template looks on Mac and iPhone.
